Sundials 2.0

This dial was an experiment in using a clay model and a plaster mold. It is a west-facing, vertical dial that reads time from about 1:30 in the afternoon until sunset.

The curved lines trace the path of the gnomon's shadow throughout the year. These paths on a sundial are sometimes referred to as the solar calendar.
